holy god, that was fun-ish and uber boring at times.

well, we went up on thur. to get the badges. the dire up want that bad at all (only and hour and since we talked the whole time it felt shorter! ) the line was extremely long ( over 4,000 had pre reg'd soooooo yeah :C ) but anywho, the line was interesting. There was some really crazy dude with a megaphone screaming about jesus (but mostly, he wanted money and i think that since he was kinda sorta being comedic too thats why he got paid.) and hearing the comments for the common city people about all us otakus dressing up and stuff was pretty funny (i thinks the best one heard was "is it Halloween or something?" i lol'd) but all in all it was a nice day that day aaaand we got our badges then drove back home C:

on friday, that was prolly our busiest day. i got up pretty/really early (for me: 7:00am :C ) aaand we left around 9:30am to just miss the morning traffic (successes btw) twas a bit of a challenge since chris's GPS is a effing idiot :C lol. anywho, we made there and found a rather decent parking garage that wasnt super expensive (woot, since we were on a budget anyway) soooo we get into the convention center and it was pretty busy being the first day of the con. and yeah we got lost at times while we were looking for panels for the artist alley, etc. but it was kinda hard to remember where things were since last year and they had moved things around. but omg, got to see some awesome cosplayers. saw 2 different pedobears (i got to hug one of the and got a pic of the other! ) there was some guy running around dressed up as vince the shamwow guy and reciting the whole commercial (skills right there :V lol) and apparently i heard that there was another vince too, i just didnt see him. haha. but omg one of the best things was that someone dressed as billy mays and stood at a corner and did a whole skit about selling the oxyclean (i got video of it, but idk if i could upload it anywhere since the format my camera puts it in so eh ill figure it out later) theres was an impressive amount of ppl who dressed as TF2 ppl and that made for some awesome photo ops lol. anywho, we went to our first panel which was about living in japan and not that i would want to, it was alot of rather interesting facts i learned our next panel was about how to put on a kimono right and that was also very interesting (i think i learned alot lmao) we rested a while after all that nearing the end of the day kinda and chris had left to put crap in the car and pick up a badge for dani's sis. so me and dani just sat there was waited for him. we got talked to by a good amount of ppl lol it was very intriguing. so anywho, after that we spent the rest of our time in the artist gall and the dealer's room. there was some freaking awesome art there and the most impressive was some had did a huge ass creation of "The Big O" it was really awesome. the dealer's room was just that a bunch of stuff the buy. i just got a tee and then on saturday i got a penpen plush!! (im very very very happy i got the penpen plush :> ) oddly enough, in one of the panels we went to we found a small post card-ish thing that had snafu-comics on it and me and chris were like "OMG WHAT IF ENDLING WAS HERE???!!!! D:!!!11" Endling is the creator of this awesome comic called everafter and his art if effing amazing. we are huge fans!! D: plus. snafu also hosts a multitude of other great comics as well. anywho, we figured that it was just prolly an advertisement card and nothing more then that. so we went on our way back home. it was an great day!

on saturday, Aly, dani's sis, came up with us. shes reallllly into FMA (Full Metal Alchemist) and could pull off an impressive Edward Elric if she dressed like him (shes got his personality and everything, its pretty awesome) plus shes knows a whole buttload of facts about FMA and knows the series front to back. soo there was a FMA panel and we were all going to go. we got there an hour before it was supposed to start and the line was uber long D: so, we stand in line for a long while and then finally get in (thx god) and everyone in the room was really excited to what it was going to be about. Low and behold, it sucked. All it was, was a panel of 4 ppl who knew half assedly knew the series and the just had a Q&A session :C and some people asked the DUMBEST questions ever D: ugggh. it was a 2 hr panel of that crap. being the only FMA panel, it should have been better, 10x better. so, we didnt sit there for that crap and left (so did many many other people. D:< only the effing morons asking the stupid questions stayed. but omg, forgot to tell you chris had read on snafu that ENDLING WAS THERE ffffffffffffffffffffffff and so we went down there in the dealers hall and actually got to meet him. hes so nice and he signed chris's badge for him! it was freaking awesome. so anywho, we made out way over the workshop to make clay chibis. long line was long to wait (waited a good 3hrs D , but we were first in line and found a really good seat when it opened. that was the funnest workshop ever. got to talk with the really awesome chick who told the most hilarious stories. and it was great, b/c it felt like art class all over again haha. but, anywho after that we headed back home since there wasnt much more to do. aaaand we deiced not to go sunday b/c there was not going to be much at all and it wasnt worth the drive down and back.

in conclusion (if you took the time to read all this x__x) it was a rather fun fact, people friendly, and long long waits. it wasnt as good as last years but it was a fantastic time and a decent vacation

:C so now im back and i looked apon my DA and FA

i read everything i wanted to and deleted a bunch of other things. hurray. so now im back and ill get to work on those trades once more i guess.
